Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all phases of construction management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will be instrumental in managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, and communication among stakeholders while leveraging industry-standard construction management software and tools.
Duties
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and resource allocation using tools such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
- Manage project schedules proactively, adjusting timelines as needed to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Utilize construction management software like ProCore and Civil 3D for tracking progress, documenting issues, and reporting project status.
- Review contracts and change orders diligently to mitigate risks and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders through meetings, reports, and updates.
- Ensure timely completion of all project documentation including incident reports, logs, and progress reports.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong background in project coordination on heavy civil or commercial projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in using industry-standard construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Solid understanding of construction estimating processes and contract administration.
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints and schematics accurately to guide construction activities.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols and compliance standards.
- Prior experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills.
- Familiarity with construction site operations including site supervision and coordination of subcontractors is highly desirable. Pay: $80,654.00 - $150,000.00 per year
