Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner/Expo to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner/Expo plays a crucial role in ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately from the kitchen to our guests. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with servers to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Help set up for banquets or special events, ensuring all necessary items are prepared and available.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with inquiries.
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours by assisting with various tasks as needed.
- Uphold health and safety regulations while handling food items.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to go up and down flights of stairs regularly.
- Position requires going outside regularly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.
- Experience in food preparation or banquet settings is advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 30 per week
