Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Master and utilize advanced techniques such as hair styling, color, and extensions, to enhance client satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations, including sterilizing tools and implementing proper salon sanitation protocols.
- Use salon software systems such as phorest for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Engage clients with excellent customer service by listening to their needs, offering expert advice on hair care products, upselling retail items, and building lasting relationships.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, answering inquiries, and supporting store management activities.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair styling techniques and customer service strategies to foster a collaborative team environment.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of color theory, and advanced hair styling techniques.
- Proficiency in salon software systems such as Phorest for scheduling and retail management.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices related to cosmetology.
- Skilled in retail sales techniques including upselling beauty products.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients and team members alike.
