Job Summary - Store Manager - FREDDO GELATO
This job posting is for a position in a Gelato Store owned and operated by an independent Freddo franchisee.
Store Manager runs the store as if it belongs to him—from managing daily operations to taking responsibility for financial results. Supervises and directs the workforce, making staffing decisions (i.e., hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining and scheduling), ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality.
Areas and Accountabilities Essential job functions included but not limited to the following:
· Leadership & Team Building
· Manages store staffing and talent acquisition to meet and maintain established requirements and objectives.
· Provides constant training and coaching through the company’s practices and policies regarding products and operational techniques.
· Challenges and inspires the store team to achieve operational goals and to maximize their contribution.
· Customer service
· Displays a “customer comes first” attitude by training and holding staff accountable for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
· Trains team in resolving customer complaints.
· Creates objectives and action plans to improve the quality of customer service and sales.
· Maintains high quality standards for critical products.
· Marketing and Communications.
· Maximizes store sales, through transaction and ticket growth, implementation of marketing programs and promotions.
· Ensures that communication materials are in perfect condition for the exhibition.
· Safety and Sanitation
· Manages and guarantees all sanitation and product safety standards while good serving practices are executed.
· Ensures the correct rotation of the products.
· Business requirements and Administration
· Executes company operational and administrative procedures (i.e., relief, cash management and inventory management).
· Prepares all work schedules.
· Organizes opening and closing duties.
· Makes monthly sales projections and analyzes financial reports to identify trends and issues regarding store performance.
· Trains supervisors in key management indicators (i.e., labor cost, wastage)
· Supervises supplier management and supply reception.
· Responds to local and federal inspections, being accountable for law compliance.
Requirements:
· 3 years of experience in retail management.
· Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
· Strong leadership skills.
· Legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the country in which you apply.
· Ability to work full time, including variable hours, early mornings, evenings, weekends and/ or holidays.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
