Store Manager
Position Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of store performance by creating an engaging customer experience, developing high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence. This role oversees day-to-day store operations, ensures achievement of financial and sales goals, and promotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The Store Manager serves as a role model for company values while maintaining brand standards and delivering outstanding business results.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Business Performance
- Lead the store team to achieve sales, profitability, and key performance metrics.
- Monitor business performance, identify opportunities, and implement action plans to improve results.
- Manage store expenses, payroll, inventory, shrink, and operational budgets.
- Maintain flexibility to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, and peak business periods.
- Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and a customer-first mindset.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top talent to build a high-performing team.
- Foster an inclusive, positive work environment focused on engagement and professional growth.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities for all associates.
- Identify emerging leaders and support succession planning for future management opportunities.
- Address performance concerns promptly and consistently while recognizing and rewarding strong performance.
Customer Experience

- Coach associates to build meaningful customer relationships and drive brand loyalty.

- Communicate sales goals and performance updates throughout the day to inspire results.
Store Operations
- Oversee all daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Create schedules that maximize customer service while effectively managing payroll budgets.
- Ensure all associates understand and follow company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD), resolving customer concerns and supporting store operations as needed.
- Partner with Loss Prevention to reduce shrink and safeguard company assets.
Visual Merchandising & Inventory
- Maintain visual merchandising standards that reflect the brand image and support sales objectives.
- Oversee inventory accuracy through effective receiving, replenishment, and stock management processes.
- Ensure merchandise is presented according to company guidelines and store presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and stockroom environment.

Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of retail management experience in a specialty retail environment or comparable leadership role.
- Proven success leading teams, achieving sales goals, and managing store operations.
- Strong skills in customer service, talent development, visual merchandising, inventory management, and operational execution.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and move throughout the sales floor and stockroom as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
