Lead Teacher Responsibilities

- Conduct ongoing assessments of child development and tailor instruction to meet individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and collaborate on supporting each child's growth.
- Manage classroom routines and activities efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations and optimal learning experiences.
- Incorporate diverse teaching strategies to enhance engagement.
- Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold all health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certification.
- Support the Christian mission and values of our preschool.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management.
- Assist Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans.
- Manage classroom routines and activities efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations and optimal learning experiences.

Skills
- Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management and behavior management skills is preferred.
- Knowledge of child development principles, childhood welfare standards, and early intervention techniques.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies tailored for young learners. (Lead Teacher)
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Strong understanding of special education needs and accommodations for children requiring additional support.
