We are seeking a passionate and qualified Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide part-time athletic training services for Las Positas College athletics.
This role is Monday through Friday with guaranteed 25–29 hours per week and opportunities for additional coverage during athletic events.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver professional athletic training services to collegiate athletes across multiple sports.
- Collaborate with coaches, athletes, and administrators to ensure optimal safety, performance, and care.
- Provide coverage for practices, games, and events—including occasional weekend commitments.

What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: Master’s degree from a CAATE-accredited athletic training program (or Bachelor's for programs completed before 2022).
- Certifications: Current BOC certification, along with American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Expertise in injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel for injury tracking and reporting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive situations.
- Experience with athletic training aids (e.g., taping, modalities, exercise programs).
- Mindset: A team player with a passion for athletic training, innovation, and delivering exceptional care.
