Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on manufacturing equipment including HVAC systems, hydraulic machinery, pneumatic systems, and electrical components.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and troubleshooting tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and equipment status updates.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics involving low voltage and high voltage systems to identify faults efficiently.
- Repair or replace mechanical parts using precision measuring instruments and welding techniques where necessary.
- Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician systems, and automation controls to resolve operational issues swiftly.
- Provide technical support in the field by engaging with customers directly to ensure their equipment functions reliably and efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously when working with high-voltage systems or welding equipment in various environments.
- Assist in training team members on new maintenance procedures or technical troubleshooting methods.
Requirements
- Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial mechanics.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking and reporting.
- Ability to perform equipment troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Experience with welding (including welding if applicable), high voltage work, and electrical repairs.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to deliver timely solutions in field service settings.
- Mechanical aptitude with a focus on precision measurement instruments for accurate repairs.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints confidently while following safety standards.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork.
- Previous military experience or industrial electrician background is considered a plus.
