Job Summary:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of Human Resource related functions including retirement plan & payroll administration, as well as supporting general HR policy administration and employee relations. This role ensures accurate and compliant retirement plan administration and supports employees with related inquiries.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

Retirement Plan Administration
- Administer aspects of Bank Profit Sharing & 401(k) Plan, including:
- Participant eligibility and enrollment

Contribution processing and allocation

Distributions, loans, and rollovers
- Ensure compliance with plan documents, company policies, and applicable federal and state regulations (ERISA, IRS, DOL)

Serve as the primary liaison with the plan recordkeeper options, plan updates, and participant communications

Partner with the internal Trust department on investment options, plan updates, and participant communications

Support annual plan activities such as audits, nondiscrimination testing, and requires filings

Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to plan activity

Respond to employee inquiries and provide clear, timely guidance on retirement benefits and other related matters

Maintain benefit data integrity in HRIS and vendor systems
- Payroll & HR Related Duties
- Process assigned payrolls ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Review and audit payrolls prepared by others to ensure compliance and correctness

Acts as a point of contact for employees, management, and HR business customers, addressing inquiries and providing information

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll & HR related data
Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in benefits administration, payroll, or related field

Strong attention to detail and accuracy; strong organizational & time management skills

Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

Exceptional communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills

Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime when necessary
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
