Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team. In this vital role, you will manage the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, accurate record-keeping, and seamless communication with clients. Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts through professional client communication and negotiation.
- Utilize various accounting software such as QuickBooks, legal and billing platforms to record transactions accurately.
- Perform detailed data entry tasks to ensure accuracy in financial records and account analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams on billing discrepancies, collections account management, and resolving client inquiries promptly.
- Conduct regular account reconciliation to verify accuracy of receivables against general ledger entries while adhering to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Support compliance controls by maintaining proper documentation and audit trails for all receivable transactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting roles with a focus on accounts receivable management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks Online; experience with billing software is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette for client communication and collections efforts.
- Ability to handle data entry accurately using 10 key typing skills while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
