We are seeking dependable, patient, and motivated individuals to provide one-on-one
mentoring and skill-building services to foster youth. PRS Specialists work directly with youth
to help them develop emotional regulation, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and
healthy decision-making based on goals identified by their therapist.
This is a part-time position (15–20 hours per week) primarily during after-school and early
evening hours. This role is ideal for individuals seeking consistent part-time work. Full-time
hours are typically not available during the school year, though additional hours may be
available during the summer.
What You’ll Do:
● Provide 1:1 mentoring and skill development sessions
● Teach and reinforce emotional regulation and coping skills
● Support youth in working toward therapist-identified goals
● Transport youth to appointments or approved activities
● Complete timely and accurate documentation
Schedule:
● 15–20 hours per week
● Primarily 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM (varies by youth needs)
● Some schedule flexibility required
● Summer full-time opportunities may be available
Requirements:
● Experience working with youth preferred
● Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance required
● Strong organizational and time-management skills
● Comfortable using computers and completing online documentation
● Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
