About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing wire feed welding on sub-assemblies and final assemblies, directly contributing to our production line. Your proficiency in operating various tools and welding techniques will be essential to our success.
Responsibilities
- Execute wire feed welding on sub-assemblies and final assemblies to support line production goals.
- Operate a variety of tools, including wire feed welders, plasma cutters, and cutting torches, to prepare and weld materials.
- Set up and adjust welding machines for carbon and stainless steel of various gauges to meet project specifications.
- Ensure parts are properly aligned and secured using blocking, braces, jigs, and hand tools.
- Conduct measurement and quality checks to verify weld integrity and adherence to standards.
- Operate overhead cranes and lifting devices to safely move and position materials.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to company policies and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with wire feed welding techniques.
- Proficiency in operating welding equipment and related tools.
- Ability to weld in various positions (vertical, flat, overhead, lap).
- Strong understanding of metal properties and welding processes.
