Maintenance Dispatch / EAMS Group performs varied professional administrative functions associated with coordinating the maintenance of various assets at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and implementation of incident management and incident response work with other emergency response, such as 911 calls, and Airside /Landside operations, and the Integrated Coordination Center (ICC).
The administrative Coordinator will serve as liaison for the Airport Maintenance Group and support other business units by ensuring full operational capacity 24/7. The Maintenance Dispatch/EAMS team is responsible for documenting, dispatching, and coordinating maintenance calls, including elevator emergencies, for all airport users using the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS).
The purpose of this position is to support our strategic objective of achieving “opening-day” fresh conditions for our airport.
This position provides Tier I response to ensure the safe operation of George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
· Prepares, edits, and revises department/division correspondence; prepares, edits, and revises procedures manuals.
· Assists the department/division in the effective discharge of responsibilities by furnishing analyses, appraisals, recommendations, and information concerning the activities and programs reviewed.
· Researches, analyzes, and reviews new vendors, equipment, services, and regulations.
· Participates in special projects as assigned by the department/division head.
· May coordinate division financial operations, including budget planning, integration and oversight, project cost analysis, expenditure control, and accounting procedures by maintaining records, compiling documentation, and generating reports or other data products of all maintenance reported to Maintenance Dispatch / EAMS.
· Will coordinate the planning, research, presentation, and evaluation of special programs by utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the documentation of maintenance calls /work.
· Serves as an incident responder and emergency specialist between the IAH Integrated Coordination Center for the Airport Maintenance Dispatch/EAMS group.
· Assists and coordinates airport-wide preparations and activities in the event of an emergency, and assists in the implementation of continuity plans.
· Monitors various technologies (such as Swift Sensors) used to track airport and maintenance dispatch EAMS group operations to ensure active response of a variety of maintenance calls and sensor alarms to then dispatch the appropriate staff to investigate.
· May be required to work additional hours during an incident or emergency situation.
· Performs training and other job-related duties as required by the supervisor.
