We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to act as a technical focal point at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and testing. You will own the manufacturing value chain, providing strategic input for lean shop floor layouts and optimized assembly flows for our advanced production.
Responsibilities

Provide strategic input for lean manufacturing shop floor layouts optimized for assembly flow and labor efficiency.

Develop and qualify detailed assembly work instructions for continuous improvement.

Establish and track key production metrics including takt time, cycle time, and yield.

Apply process improvement methodologies to reduce build hours and remove variability from complex processes.

Own manufacturing design scopes from ideation through validation, including custom tooling and fixtures.

Work directly on the production floor supporting build, test, and equipment maintenance needs.

Lead root cause analyses and collaborate with design engineers to evaluate manufacturability.

Partner with Quality teams on PFMEAs, control plans, and AS9100 compliance.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.

Experience: 10+ years of manufacturing experience with a focus on high volume hardware production.

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen due to restricted system access requirements.

Technical Systems: Experience with ERP, PLM, and MES enterprise software systems.

Standards: Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 safety and quality standards.

Soft Skills: High energy team player with a bias for action in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Nice to Haves

Experience and familiarity with gas turbine engines.

Proficiency with PTC PLM products such as Windchill and Creo.
