Warehouse Shipping Supervisor
Summary:
As a crucial part of our team, this position will involve working with the shipping manager to develop and direct shipping processes. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring all daily shipping activities, including label printing and order shipper assignment, are carried out to the highest standards, contributing to our consistent metrics and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Motivate and encourage teamwork to ensure productivity standards are met
Train warehouse associates and maintain our in-house security protocols
Oversee all incoming and outgoing inventory, utilizing inventory management systems to maintain accurate records.
Enforce best practices to ensure accurate and on-time shipping to our customers.
Ensure that our quality control procedures are being followed on all of our stored goods.
Develop cross-functional relationships with other departments
Strive for continuous improvement in service, productivity, and cost control by setting expectations, providing feedback, establishing improved processes, and driving disciplines
Guarantee that we are being compliant with all safety regulations and company policies.
Work with the safety manager to conduct regular safety inspections and bring up any hazards or concerns promptly.
Manage stock control and reconcile with our ERP system.
Generate daily reports on inventory levels, orders shipped, and labor productivity.
Address customer service concerns efficiently and effectively
Actively participate in production meetings with the manufacturing team.
Qualifications/Experience:
2+ years working and managing processes in a large, fast-paced warehouse
Excellent computer skills
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF control devices
Analytical skills and strategic planning
Internal and external customer satisfaction
Continuous improvement and training
Proven track record
Workflow and process-driven
Bilingual preferred
Physical abilities:
Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously, and bend/twist at the waist and knees.
Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods, read and interpret documents and instructions from customers, vendors, and other team members.
Must possess strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual preferred
Pay Rate:
Salary $40,000.00 plus depending on experience
