Material Runner – Part-Time Construction Position
Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 20–30 hours per week
Location: Northeastern Wisconsin Area
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Material Runner to join our construction team. This position is responsible for picking up and delivering materials, supplies, tools, and equipment to multiple residential construction jobsites throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver construction materials from suppliers to jobsites
- Drive a truck and trailer safely and responsibly
- Load, unload, and organize materials and supplies
- Make multiple deliveries and trips to different jobsites throughout the day
- Help keep jobsites stocked with necessary materials
- Assist the construction team with miscellaneous material-related tasks
- Communicate with the office, suppliers, and jobsite personnel regarding deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized truck and equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and driving requirements
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance
- Clean/reliable driving history
- Reliable work history and strong attendance
- Ability to safely drive a truck and trailer
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Ability to make multiple stops and drive to different jobsites throughout the day
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Construction experience is a plus, but not required

The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, flexible, and comfortable staying busy throughout the day. You should be able to work independently, manage multiple material runs, and understand that construction schedules can change throughout the day.

Pay: $20–$23/hour, depending on experience.
