Redwood Collision Co. is a locally owned and operated Auto Body Repair Shop opening this Fall. We are currently looking to fill the positions of: Auto Body Technician and Painter. Duties
- Repair automotive structural damage using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle integrity.
- Prepare surfaces through sanding, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair methods to ensure flawless paint application.
- Apply auto paint using airless paint spraying techniques, ensuring an even finish that matches factory standards.
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, auto restoration, and automotive parts installation with precision and attention to detail.
- Conduct auto glass replacement and automotive parts installation to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; assist with vehicle detailing and auto maintenance as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician.
- Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques.
- Skilled in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, fabrication, and fabrication repair techniques.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including auto restoration, auto painting, auto glass installation, and automotive parts installation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during auto refinishing and assembly processes.
