American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a Days shift position requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and a Maine or compact RN license.

Work in a full-spectrum Emergency Center with a separate Chest Pain Center

Days shift, 7a-7p
-
13-week assignment
-
May be required to work as charge nurse or preceptor if needed
-
Active RN license (Maine or Compact) currently in hand
-
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
-
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required

At least 2 years of ED experience required
-
At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience required
-
No history of actions or hits on license or background
-
Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay
-
Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood products as needed
-
Provide patient education and document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses
-
Serve as an essential member of the patient care team delivering direct and indirect care
