About Lake Lite
Lake Lite, Inc. is one of the most innovative names in solar marine lighting and boat-lift power. We design, engineer, and sell professional-grade solar dock lights, boat-lift motors, and marine accessories for fresh and salt water — and we do it across a family of six brands: Lake Lite, Lake Lifter, Anchor Winch, Ultra Bright Tech, Muck Blower 360, & Lift Remotes. We’re a small, hands-on team where one person’s work reaches customers nationwide.
The Role
We’re hiring an in-house Marketing & Creative Lead to own marketing and creativity across multiple brands. This is a true do-it-all role for someone who can move from running a product photo shoot, to building a web page with AI tools, to designing a print postcard, to sending customer emails — all in the same week. You’ll be the single creative engine behind our brands, working directly with leadership and creating work that goes live fast.

Open Opportunity
Our marketing calendar has never been formally built — that’s your biggest opening to make an immediate mark. We’d love someone who can bring structure to our monthly sends, holiday promos, and content cadence and turn ad-hoc marketing into a real plan. Several of our brands also have little or no social media presence yet, so there’s real room to build those channels from the ground up.
Your responsibilities
- Photo editing & organization. Edit product and customer photos to a high standard and keep them filed correctly on our shared server and in our live Shopify galleries.
- Design & print. Create brand assets, logos, brochures, flyers, packaging, and postcards, and order print materials through our print vendor.
- Product photography & video. Run product and install photo shoots end to end — shoot, edit, crop, and remove backgrounds — using a DSLR (we shoot on a Canon EOS R5), plus product and install videos.
- Social media. Build and grow our brands’ social presence — some brands have little or none today. Create, schedule, and post content; set up and maintain Facebook company pages; and run the other relevant channels for each brand.
- Website content & AI-built pages. Write and update product and collection descriptions and custom HTML, and build custom web pages using AI tools — primarily Claude — that you then implement into Shopify. Everything is managed through a Git-based content workflow.
- Email marketing. Plan and send monthly and seasonal campaigns in MailChimp, including our recurring customer Photo Contest blasts and holiday promotions with discount codes. Audiences sync live from Shopify, so you focus on the message, not the list.
- SEO. Use Claude AI, Screaming Frog, and other methods to audit the sites and continually improve SEO performance — prioritizing and fixing the issues that matter and optimizing meta listings for new products as they launch.
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves
- Expert-level product photography — comfortable shooting on a DSLR (we use a Canon EOS R5) and handling the full edit: cropping, background removal, and retouching to deliver clean, sales-ready product images.
- Expert command of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator — these are core, daily tools, not occasional ones.
- Strong AI experience and working knowledge — you already use AI tools like Claude in your everyday workflow and know how to get great results from them. A major part of this role is building custom web pages with AI tools (via Claude) and implementing them into Shopify.
- Experience with Shopify, plus enough HTML/Liquid to edit and publish product pages confidently.
Also important
- Adobe Premiere Pro for product and install videos.
- Hands-on experience managing brand social media — creating content and running Facebook and other channels.
- Familiarity with a Git / Visual Studio content workflow (or eagerness to learn one).
- Working knowledge of SEO and tools like Screaming Frog (AI-assisted SEO analysis is a plus).
- Email marketing experience in MailChimp.
- Organized and reliable with file and asset management across multiple brands.
- A self-starter who can juggle many brands and projects without losing the details.
