Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our vibrant early childhood education environment. Responsibilities
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Support children's social-emotional development through positive behavior management strategies and effective communication skills.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
- Incorporate early intervention techniques to support children with special needs or developmental delays, ensuring individualized attention.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including transitions, snack times, nap times, and outdoor activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and share best practices for toddler care, childhood development, and childcare.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and behavioral observations in compliance with childcare regulations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, including tutoring in literacy and math skills as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and classroom activities to foster a strong home-school connection.
- Support the welfare of children by promoting positive behavior management techniques and ensuring child safety at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior preschool experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management strategies, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, standardized testing procedures, and teaching physical education.
- Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Formal training or certification in early childhood education or related fields such as Montessori or childhood education programs is desirable.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and developmental levels of young children.
