We are seeking a dynamic and organized Personal Injury Receptionist to join our legal team. Duties
- Greet clients, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy, creating a welcoming environment.
- Manage incoming phone calls, directing inquiries to appropriate team members with excellent phone etiquette.
- Schedule appointments, consultations, and follow-up meetings for attorneys handling personal injury cases.
- Maintain accurate client records and case files using document management systems such as RIngCentral and Casepeer.
- Assist with legal administrative support tasks including data entry, filing, document review, and proofreading.
- Support legal research and document drafting related to personal injury law and other practice areas like civil litigation support.
- Handle confidential information with discretion while ensuring compliance with procedural law standards.
Experience
- Prior legal support experience, especially in personal injury law or civil litigation support, is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis to assist attorneys with case preparation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document creation and communication.
- Experience with case management software including iManage or similar systems is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of procedural law, legal drafting, and client communication best practices enhances success in this role.
- Paralegal experience or background in legal administrative roles will be considered a plus for candidates seeking growth opportunities within the firm.
