RN Unit Manager

Full Time | Day Shift | No Weekends!
Pay: $55-$63/hour
based on experience
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Unit Manager to lead clinical operations, support nursing staff, and help ensure exceptional care for medically fragile children and young adults.
As a 94-bed pediatric and young adult skilled nursing facility and affiliate of Center for Disability Services, St. Margaret's Center has provided compassionate, specialized care since 1883. Our residents receive advanced 24-hour medical support in a nurturing, home-like environment where they can learn, play, build friendships, and experience a full childhood. What you'll do as a RN Unit Manager:
- Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and nursing best practices
- Review resident records and complete assessments
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff through coaching, delegation, performance management, and staff development
- Ensure accurate documentation and physician order compliance

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, residents, and families to coordinate care and improve outcomes
- Support quality improvement initiatives, infection control standards and survey readiness
RN Unit Manager Qualifications:
- Active New York State RN license
- Active CPR certification

At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience
- At least 1 year of leadership or management experience in long-term care

Must be at least 18 years old

Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
