FedEx LineHaul Driver - CDL Class A ($2000 Signing Bonus)
Job description
FedEx IC, NorthStar Courier Inc, is looking for a qualified, experienced and reliable CDL Class A driver for an opportunity domiciled in Mankato, MN. Runs will consist of 100% No-Touch freight. Local work. Drivers are home every day. Fleet consists of all late model equipment. (2018 and newer). All Automatic transmissions. We’re looking for people who have been OTR Truck Drivers, Local Truck Drivers, Route Drivers, Team Truck Drivers,CDL Drivers- and if you have driven for FedEx, UPS, Penske, 10 Roads Express, Walmart, Amazon or any other similar companies that is a plus.
Requirements:
- CDL Class A License with DOT med card
- Doubles Endorsement (or willing to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year CDL Class A driving experience within the past 3 years (6 months experience if candidate completed a qualified CDL driving school)
- No DUI's in the past 5 years
- Ability to safely operate tractor / trailer in all whether conditions
- Ability to hook / unhook trailers, dollies and double trailer sets (training will be available for all equipment that will be utilized)
- Timely report any accidents, damage (vehicle or property) or equipment issues to leadership
Responsibilities:
- Complete Pre and Post Trip Vehicle Inspections
- Received, Organize and Execute daily routing instruction from local dispatch
- Document shift and route info utilizing on-board ELD equipment
- Safely spot trailers on door or in yard at FedEx and local customer locations
- Safely operate commercial vehicle while obeying all traffic rules and regulations
