Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control plant operations.
- Constantly review the plant operation, control the process, ensure quality product is produced, anticipate and solve problems, and help identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in projects to improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
- Maintain records of key production variables (including production volume, yield, plant uptime, and utility consumption)
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with QA to ensure effective participation in QA programs related to sampling and testing process streams and products
- Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance to ensure timely repair work by assisting in diagnosing and troubleshooting any maintenance issues.
- Participate in safety, health, and environmental programs.
- Maintain compliance with any applicable city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to operations.
- Ensures plant cleanliness and monitors use/inventory of process chemicals and supplies.
- Handle raw materials and finished products using proper materials handling techniques, including forklift operation when required.
*Pay rate will be determined based on years of experience
* New hires (Chemical Operator) may be eligible for Sign-on bonus up to $1500 after 90-day probationary period.
Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
