About the Job
We install and de-install custom millwork displays, window features, and seasonal environments for high-end luxury retail clients -- think flagship stores, department store shop-in-shops, and branded window displays. We're looking for a Project Manager to lead the full seasonal cycle: take down what's there, prep the space, and put up what's next.
This starts as a temp-to-perm role. Day-to-day coordination happens during standard business hours; installations happen on the client's schedule -- typically evenings or overnight when stores are closed. You'll lead the crew on site and own every phase from setup through sign-off.
What You'll Do
- Lead installation crews through every phase: de-installation, site clearing, and new seasonal build.
- Coordinate all logistics -- materials, deliveries, crating, storage, and site access -- around tight retail calendar windows.
- Conduct pre-installation site reviews; confirm dimensions, materials, and conditions before crew mobilizes.
- Serve as the on-site contact for luxury brand reps, visual merchandising teams, store managers, and GCs.
- Manage real-time adjustments on site; adapt to last-minute brand direction without losing quality or time.
- Handle punch list, client sign-off, photos, and closeout documentation at the end of each cycle.
- Track labor, materials, and cost variances; support billing and project documentation.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years managing or supervising millwork, retail display, visual merchandising construction, or similar installation work.
- Direct experience leading crews on site in luxury retail, flagship, or department store environments.
- Comfortable reading shop drawings and installation documents; able to take field measurements and assess fit.
- Highly organized; able to keep multiple deliveries, vendors, and crew members aligned on tight timelines.
- Professional and composed in high-end retail environments -- you represent us and our clients equally.
- Available for on-site work outside standard retail hours (evenings/overnight) per client scheduling.
- Proficient in Excel; Asana experience preferred.
- Able to travel within NYC regularly; some domestic travel required.
Schedule & Location
- Office coordination: standard business hours, NYC-based.

- Travel: primarily NYC, some domestic, occasional international.
