Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented Workspace Interior Designer to join our team. This role focuses on designing commercial office spaces and selecting furniture solutions that enhance functionality, aesthetics, and productivity. The ideal candidate will be proficient in 2D and 3D renderings and have expertise in industry-standard design software such as CAD or CET.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design innovative and functional commercial office interiors, ensuring optimal space utilization.
- Create 2D and 3D renderings to visualize workspace layouts and furniture arrangements.
- Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and space plans to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, and clients to understand workspace requirements.
- Utilize design software to create detailed drawings and specifications.
- Source and specify furniture, finishes, and materials that align with project goals and budget.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Stay updated on workplace design trends, ergonomics, and sustainable design practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in workspace or commercial interior design.
- Proficiency in design software such as CAD, CET (preferred), Revit, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, commercial furniture solutions, and building codes.
- Excellent visual presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of creativity and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in corporate office design or furniture dealership environments.
- Familiarity with ergonomic solutions and sustainable design principles.
- Certification in NCIDQ is a plus.
