Lead Toddler/Preschool Teacher
Blue Kangaroo Learning Center is seeking a passionate, dependable, and experienced Lead Toddler/Preschool Teacher to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, building strong relationships with children and families, and providing leadership within the classroom.
This position is ideal for an educator who is confident managing a classroom, collaborating with colleagues, and supporting children's growth through play-based learning and positive guidance.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay
- Starting at $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and classroom activities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and licensing compliance
- Complete required observations, assessments, and documentation
- Guide children's social-emotional development using positive behavior strategies
- Communicate effectively with families regarding children's daily experiences and progress
- Collaborate with administration and teaching staff to support program goals
- Provide leadership and mentorship within the classroom
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare center or preschool setting
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must meet all state licensing requirements for childcare staff
- Managerial or leadership experience preferred but not required
