Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Skilled Tradesman to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of trade-specific tasks across construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of building, remodeling, and renovation projects, utilizing your extensive knowledge of building materials, tools, and construction techniques. Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and flooring installation with precision and attention to detail.
- Conduct plumbing and electrical work in accordance with project specifications and safety protocols.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to facilitate construction activities on-site.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately.
- Install building materials such as stucco, plastering, caulking, and window systems following industry standards.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks efficiently across construction projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to strict safety procedures at all times.
- Assist in remodeling projects by performing tasks such as tile laying, flooring installation, and drywall finishing.
- Operate outdoor equipment and perform outdoor work experience as required for various site conditions.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in building construction and related trades.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and other essential equipment.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam software for reviewing plans and managing documentation is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction management principles including estimating, planning, and site supervision.
- Experience and blueprints accurately.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely in outdoor environments on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards or equivalent regulations.
- Skills in plumbing, electrical work, stucco application, tile laying, window installation, door hanging, cabinet installation, flooring installation, plastering, caulking, or similar trades are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needed.
