Hello,
Small 4 person company looking to hire a commercial installer, a commercial service technician, or someone who can do both. This is a small family owned business that focuses on quality of work over sales quotas and ticket prices. There are no quotas here.
100% of the work will be in Pinellas County, Florida with most work, other than service, being indoors.
There is no ON Call.
Typical work week is Monday - Friday, however, we do work weekends when we have projects. Saturday is Over Time and Sunday is Double Time regardless of whether you have worked 40 standard hours or not. We have been working almost every Saturday and Sunday since June, though this should not be expected.
Installer - You will work with a team to install everything from 1 ton mini splits systems to 20 ton rooftop units and everything in between. There will be duct work, both flex and metal. We also do plenty of chilled water piping installations. Installers are on every project so a work week can be Monday - Sunday with rotating days off.
Service Tech - You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of 50 - 100 hvac systems across 3 separate facilities here in Pinellas County. Must be knowledgeable with mini split system, split systems, rooftop units, and both phases of power. As a service tech, expect a schedule of Monday - Friday. Maintenances are scheduled for weekdays and almost all of our systems have back ups so "emergencies" rarely ever occur during the after hours.
As stated above, I do not have sales quotas. There are no metrics here. All I expect from you is the willingness to work when there is work, to work to your highest ability of craftsmanship, and to always be honest with me and the customer.
Must have EPA License
Due to the nature of our customer's facilities, you must be able to pass a strict background check.
Must agree to a "drug free" workspace. Random drug tests may be implemented.
Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week
