Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) | Salinas, CA 93901 – Monterey County
Contract: Minimum 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: $55/hour
We are seeking a clinically compassionate and adaptable Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a large, dynamic skilled nursing facility in Salinas, CA.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OT or a new graduate looking to build valuable experience in the SNF setting. Mentorship is available for new graduates.
Requirements
- Active California OT License or license in process under the 60-Day Rule
- SNF experience preferred
- New graduates are welcome
- Strong documentation and time-management skills
- Flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Preferred schedules: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
- Position may require floating to a sister facility within walking distance
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as appropriate
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Complete documentation in Net Health according to facility standards
