The Role
We are looking for reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Overnight Call Center Agents to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for callers overnight, answering inbound calls, assisting with questions, and using internal systems to keep key processes moving forward while the rest of the team is offline.

Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls in a professional, compassionate, and courteous manner
- Gather and enter information accurately into internal systems
- Exercise sound judgement to determine which situations require immediate escalation and overnight intervention versus those that can be addressed during regular business hours
- Follow established scripts, processes, and procedures to ensure a consistent experience
- Use internal tools to update case notes, coordinate next steps, and advance workflows
- Escalate urgent or complex issues according to established protocols
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Collaborate with the broader team to ensure smooth transitions between overnight and daytime operations
Qualifications
- Previous call center, dispatch, customer service, or administrative experience preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Comfortable multitasking and navigating multiple systems simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and highly accountable
- Ability to work independently and stay engaged during overnight hours
- Basic computer proficiency, including typing, email, and web-based applications
Requirements
- You must have a reliable internet connection and a private, quiet, distraction-free workspace during your scheduled shifts.
- You must be fully available and responsive during your scheduled overnight shifts. While call volume can vary from night to night, you must remain actively on-call and prepared to answer incoming calls and complete follow-up tasks throughout your shift.
- All initial onboarding and training will be conducted during regular business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PT).
- Comfort discussing end-of-life matters with compassion and professionalism.
Compensation & Schedule
- Competitive hourly pay: $12-15 per hour, depending on experience
- Overnight shifts: 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM PT
- Part-time schedule averaging fewer than 30 hours per week
- Multiple positions available to provide overnight coverage while maintaining a flexible part-time schedule
