About the Role:
As a CRE Systems Engineering Manager, you willoversee the team responsible for monitoring system platforms and information technology operations.
This job is part of the System Engineering jobfunction. They are responsible for successfully executing and monitoring software design requirements and improvementsto increase efficiency. This is a remote role.
What You’ll Do:
Provide formal supervision to employees.Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee therecruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage the team's dailyactivities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
Set and track staff and department deadlines.Mentor and coach as needed.
Take ownership of product integrity, processadherence, staffing, training, and tools.
Monitor, track, and report on the engineeringschedule, key performance indicators, and any changes to scope.
Support the development and improvement ofproduct development processes, project management tools, and techniques to ensure the delivery of safe andhigh-quality systems.
Implement operating policies, processes, andprocedures for the team.
Measure, review, and report progress againstbusiness metrics and initiatives defined in the business plan.
Work closely with internal operations teams andexternal vendors in designing and managing the company’s core infrastructure platforms, systems, andservices.
Lead by example and model behaviors that areconsistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
Apply knowledge of own discipline and how owndiscipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-dayand moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years ofrelevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will beconsidered.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection,training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retentionpreferred.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive,complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate team impact onquality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Officeproducts. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Extensive organizational skills with a stronginquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The compensation is about $180,000 annual base salary plus 15% target bonus depending on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
