Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to lead our landscaping and horticultural teams in creating and maintaining beautiful, sustainable outdoor environments. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to ensure efficient completion of maintenance, planting, pruning, and construction tasks
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, gardening, irrigation system installation and repairs, and tree care
- Manage project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and monitor quality standards throughout all landscaping projects
- Conduct site inspections to assess conditions, identify issues, and implement solutions promptly
- Train team members on horticultural best practices, safety procedures, and equipment operation
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide expert recommendations
- Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental regulations during all activities
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping design, or horticulture management
- Strong supervising and leadership skills to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Extensive knowledge of lawn care techniques, tree care practices, irrigation systems, and gardening methods
- Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor environments such as hardscaping or planting installations
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to landscape infrastructure and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and vendors
- Commitment to safety standards and environmental sustainability in all operations
