UBCR is a key player in the container deposit system. UBCR's role in the container deposit system is to process empty containers for Michigan's largest retailers. This position requires a CDL-A license and the best qualified candidate will have previous tractor/trailer experience along with successfully working with customers and representing the company. We have an outstanding team that is easy to work with.
Job Description:
- All local routes, home daily
- Monday - Friday, same start time daily
- 1st and 2nd shift openings
- Tractor/trailer, 53' dry vans
- Work with customers and represent UBCR professionally
- Pickups are drop and hook and live load
- Live loading done with electric pallet jack
- Count bins at customer locations
- Trailers are delivered back to terminal for processing
- Drivers typically do about 3 - 6 stops per day
- Stay compliant with all DOT requirements
- Professionally drive at terminal, customer locations and in the public
- Utilize company equipment such as pallet jacks, handheld phone, scanner
Qualifications:
- CDL-A driver's license
- Acceptable driving performance
- 2 years tractor/trailer experience (preferred)
