Baggin's Gourmet Sandwiches is dedicated to providing fresh, delicious sandwiches and catering options that delight our customers. Known for our commitment to quality and exceptional service, we are seeking a reliable and personable Catering Driver to join our dynamic team.
The Catering Driver is responsible for the timely delivery of catering orders to customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. This role is crucial to maintaining the Baggin's reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, great driving skills, and an understanding of food safety regulations.
- Safely and efficiently deliver catering orders to various locations, including businesses, schools, and private events.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with customers during deliveries.
- Ensure all catering orders are accurately loaded and secured in the delivery vehicle.
- Assist with the preparation and packaging of catering orders, ensuring all food items are fresh and presentable.
- Market to businesses within the store locations' delivery area.
- Comply with all food safety and sanitation standards during preparation, transportation, and delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with the catering team regarding order details and any special requests or changes.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from clients promptly.
- Assist with inventory management and report any shortages in catering supplies to management.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the management team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must have vehicle insurance in your name.
- Must have and use own vehicle.
- Previous experience in food service or delivery preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry catering supplies and food items (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of local driving routes and traffic patterns.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
