**Must have FLUX CORE WELDEING EXPERIENCE**
A Flux Core Welder uses a flux core welding machine to join and repair metal parts. They read basic drawings, prepare materials, make strong welds, inspect finished work, and follow safety procedures. They work with steel and other metals in manufacturing, construction, or repair projects while keeping tools and equipment in good condition.
Welder/Fabricator Job Requirements
- Weld structural steel in all positions. Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using tape measures, straightedges, combination squares, clamps, and other tools as required.
- Read and understand Welding Procedure Sheets. Select welding wires, gases, and settings for process.
- Prep material for fabrication per drawings and weld symbols, including grinding, flame cutting, or other methods.
- Confirm parts are acceptable for use prior to fitting and welding, and that requirements are met after completion of work – by use of drawings and completion of checklists.
- If required, rework/repair welds to meet quality standards – including yours or others’ welds.
- Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
- Use timeclock system for attendance and reporting jobs worked.
- Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
- Other activities may be assigned based on workload and balance of work required for the schedule, including work other than welding. This listing is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as required.

- A test of your ability to use common welding tools, fitting knowledge, and welding ability may be additionally required at the time of the interview.
Schedule:
First Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm (day)
Second Shift: Monday- Thursday 8:00pm to 6:30am (night)
