Line Cook – Full Time (40 Hours Per Week)
My Bar Sports Bar & Grill – St. Petersburg, FL
My Bar Sports Bar & Grill is looking for a dependable, hardworking Line Cook to join our team full-time. We are a locally owned neighborhood sports bar with a family atmosphere, great customers, and a small mom-and-pop style kitchen.
This position is much more than just cooking. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is willing to help with all aspects of the kitchen, including prep work, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a well-organized kitchen.
Position Details:
- Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week)
- Mornings and weekends
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Overtime opportunities available
Responsibilities:
- Food preparation and daily prep lists
- Cooking menu items to recipe and quality standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen
- Washing dishes and cleaning equipment as needed
- Receiving and properly storing deliveries
- Assisting with inventory and kitchen organization
- Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Working as part of a team to keep service running smoothly
Qualifications:
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Team player willing to help wherever needed
