We are seeking a dedicated assistant to join Montessori School of Duluth in providing exceptional and education to children. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young minds in a nurturing environment.
Legal Requirements
- Pass DHS Background study.
- Obtain or possess a Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
- Follow MSD Policies and Procedures.
- Meet DHS training requirements, including Develop trainings.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of an exceptional Montessori education.
- Ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Assist with use of toilet, mealtimes, napping, and supervising children.
- Foster childhood development through interactive play and learning experiences.
- Promote positive interactions among children.
- Collaborate with staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Use BrightWheel to communicate with families and staff.
- High quality maintenance of environment.
Professional Traits
- Early childhood experience in a professional setting required
- Prior Montessori training or experience preferred
- Conversational Spanish preferred
- Early childhood credits or diploma from a college or university preferred
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques and social-emotional learning
