Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient towing services to customers in need. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in assisting drivers during emergencies and ensuring their vehicles are transported safely.
Duties
- Operate tow trucks to transport vehicles safely from one location to another.
- Respond promptly to calls for roadside assistance, including breakdowns and accidents.
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs as needed on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle condition.
- Ensure the tow truck is well-maintained and in good working order through regular inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during stressful situations.
- Manage conflicts calmly and professionally while assisting customers.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.
Skills
- Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, including manual transmission.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely when necessary.
