Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 10 PM! Responsibilities
- Assist residents or patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and well-being
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with accuracy and attention to detail
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Use patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques safely to prevent injury
- Observe and report changes in condition or behavior, especially in individuals with dementia or other memory care needs
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by following aseptic techniques during patient care activities and adhering to infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required; must be current and in good standing
- Experience working with geriatric patients or in long-term care facilities highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (CPR) certification required
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/Epic/eClinicalWorks) systems is advantageous
- Strong caregiving skills with excellent communication abilities and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper lifting practices; manual handling experience is beneficial
- Prior experience in assisted living, memory care, hospice, or acute care settings is a plus

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
