QUALIFICATIONS
1. High School Diploma or GED required.
2. Two (2) years of clerical experience preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Skills in administrative detail.
2. Ability to keep business matters confidential.
3. Ability to type 50 words per minute.
4. Proficiency in technology programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Printshop, Publisher, etc.
5. Ability to communicate effectively via e-mail and other methods of electronic communication.
6. Ability to deal with people in a pleasant, courteous manner.
7. Ability to use excellent business English, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
8. Ability to organize materials and maintain accurate records.
9. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with others.
10. Physical and emotional ability and dexterity to work and move about as needed in a fast-paced, high-intensive work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Assist in coordinating appointments and calendar for the Director of Federal Programs.
2. Distributes mail and other correspondence in an efficient and effective manner.
3. Answers all telephone calls, e-mails, and takes messages.
4. Verifies all ordered materials and supplies for program.
5. Maintain updated contact information for Collaborators and Site Facilitators.
6. Follow-up on details and information at given sites.
7. Provide spreadsheets for numerous categories of grants.
8. Travels to sites for meetings, conferences, record minutes, and assist when needed
9. Prepares professional documents for the Director relating to travel.
10. Reviews monthly summary report of expenditures.
11. Prepares and provides purchase orders for supplies.
12. Creates files and notebooks for grant information.
13. Takes dictation for creating memorandums, letters and other correspondence.
14. Maintains monthly and annual budget information.
15. Advises the Director of all relevant timelines and deadlines related to Federal Grants.
16. Takes leave time in accordance with Board policy and reports all absences to
SubFinder as required by established procedures.
17. Attends work regularly as scheduled and is punctual.
18. Assumes other reasonable and equitable job-related duties assigned by the Director of Federal
Programs.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
The terms of employment shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Board's Policy Manual, Students First Act and the Board's Salary Schedule - Central Office Administrative Support.
EVALUATION
Performance evaluation shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel - GCRK and GCRK - R.
