Handyman Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, dependable handyman with strong customer service skills. In this position you will assist the maintenance team in ensuring our condominium is clean, functional, and inviting.
Handyman Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform repairs in such areas, but not limited to appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, spackling and basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
· Operate machinery including but not limited to; floor buffers, wet vacuums, dry vacuums.
· Perform simple repairs on amenity space appliances, machines, fitness equipment, and fixtures.
· Complete assigned service requests and repairs from residents consistent with company operating procedures.
· Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping and trash management activities.
· Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies bases on a pre-determined schedule and need.
· Following health and safety regulations and protocols.
· Performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
· Report any unsafe conditions or situations that require attention to the on-site Management.
Handyman Requirements and Qualifications
· Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
· General custodial skills in property maintenance or janitorial work.
· General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances and HVAC.
· Ability to adhere precisely to a strict routine maintenance schedule.
· Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 40+ pounds throughout course of shift.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
· A flexible schedule and availability to work weekends and holidays.
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
