Service Technician – Full Time

Sergtec Corporation is a mechanical and HVAC services company serving commercial and institutional clients (schools, restaurants, and health centers) throughout northern New Jersey.
We are seeking an experienced, full-time Service Technician to perform skilled work in the repair, maintenance, and replacement of heating, furnace, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills. We take pride in providing our customers with the highest level of courtesy and professionalism.
Most service calls are located in New York and New Jersey.

Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and commercial refrigeration systems
- Diagnosing failures in heating, ventilation, A/C, and refrigeration equipment
- On-site service at client locations (schools, restaurants, health facilities)
- Documenting work performed and parts used
- Compliance with safety regulations and proper refrigerant handling
Requirements
- EPA Section 608 Certification (required for refrigerant handling)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in commercial HVAC/refrigeration
- Valid and clean driver's license
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot in the field
- Availability for on-call/emergency situations (if applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
- NJ State HVAC License
- Experience with commercial kitchen equipment/refrigeration
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
