Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash handling.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
- Manage cash register operations, process payments, give correct change, and handle credit card transactions with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food safety management practices, including proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to health regulations.
- Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate register operations.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures including sanitation, proper food handling, and serving protocols.
- Previous experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus.
