Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
- Perform medication inventory management and restocking
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
- Provide excellent patient service and care
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication administration
Skills: Not required but are beneficial
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Proficient in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment
This position requires a Pharmacy Technician certification or licensure, we will assist you in acquiring this. Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
