Reid Veterinary Center is a privately owned, one-doctor veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care while creating a supportive and positive workplace for our team. We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Veterinary Technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care.

- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No weekends
- Full-time position
What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Technician, you will play an essential role in patient care and daily hospital operations. Responsibilities include:
- Monitor patients under anesthesia before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including dental scaling and polishing
- Obtain high-quality dental radiographs
- Place intravenous catheters
- Perform blood draws and collect laboratory samples
- Process in-house laboratory diagnostics
- Administer vaccines and demonstrate strong knowledge of vaccine protocols
- Accurately maintain and update electronic medical records
- Prepare patients for surgery and treatments
- Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes promptly
- Clearly communicate patient status and treatment plans with the veterinarian and team members
- Educate clients on medications, preventive care, and discharge instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
What We're Looking For
- Veterinary Technician experience required
- Strong anesthesia monitoring skills
- Experience with dentistry and dental radiography
- Excellent venipuncture and catheter placement skills
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostics
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
