CWS is seeking an experienced Front Loader (Wheel Loader) Operator to join our team. This position requires hands-on experience operating heavy equipment, specifically front loaders such as Liebherr 526, 566 or similar models. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of equipment controls, safety protocols, and basic maintenance. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Compensation: $23.00 to $25.00 Hourly
This is for an overnight shift: 5 pm to 4 am
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Front Loader Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a wheel loader at a recycling center, landfill, or transfer station. Duties include loading and moving materials, organizing work areas, maintaining equipment condition, and supporting site operations while following all safety and environmental procedures.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are currently Hiring for a front wheel loader operator (Liebherr 526, 566) or similar
- Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment according to Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors, and rearview camera are clean; while Safely and efficiently operate the equipment.
- Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste in materials.
- Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize downtime; clean tracks or wheels on equipment, as needed.
- Perform and document minor service on equipment, referring more complicated mechanical issues to Maintenance Shop for repair.
- Complete Equipment Condition Report and other reports, as necessary; report any necessary repairs to supervisor, as needed.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the shop is clean, serviced and stored at the completion of each shift.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-5 years of prior related experience in heavy equipment operation.
- One year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA.
- Spanish
- Liebherr, Wheel Loader, Skid Loader, Excavator, and Forklift.
- High School diploma or equivalent
Pay Range:
$23.00 to $25.00 Hourly
