Job Description
Reigning Cats & Dogs is seeking experienced, reliable, and professional 24-hour house sitters to provide in-home pet and home care for our clients throughout the metro Atlanta area. Weekends and holidays are a must including Thanksgiving and Christmas.
This is a premium service requiring a high level of responsibility, consistency, and communication. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to commit to staying in a client’s home for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous, live-in care for pets in clients’ homes with the ability to leave a few hours throughout the day for food, errands, etc.
- Follow detailed care instructions for feeding, medications, exercise, and routines
- Maintain the cleanliness and security of the home
- Provide regular updates to clients and office staff
- Handle unexpected situations calmly and responsibly
- Arrive on time and fully committed for the duration of each assignment
Requirements
- Prior professional pet sitting, veterinary, or animal care experience strongly preferred
- Proven reliability and strong sense of accountability
- Ability to commit to scheduled assignments without last-minute cancellations
- Excellent communication and responsiveness
- Comfortable staying overnight in clients’ homes for multiple days/weeks
- Must pass background check
- Reliable transportation

Important
This role is not appropriate for individuals with unpredictable schedules or competing full or part time obligations. Reliability is critical, as our clients depend on us while they are away.
