Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Mower to join our landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of outdoor spaces by operating various mowing and landscaping equipment. Responsibilities
- Operate lawn mowers, including riding and push mowers, to trim grass and maintain lawns efficiently.
- Use hand tools such as trimmers, edgers, and pruning shears to shape landscapes and remove debris.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, mulching, and soil preparation to improve garden health.
- Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment like power tools, ensuring they are well-maintained and safe to operate.
- Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and basic tree health assessments.
- Help with irrigation system checks and repairs to ensure optimal watering schedules for healthy growth.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on lawn equipment and power tools.
- Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and horticulture practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators when needed.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety standards during equipment operation and outdoor work.
