Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct regular surveillance to identify suspicious activity or potential threats.
- Control access to the premises by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify any security breaches or hazards.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism using conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical incidents or investigations.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications is a plus.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of security procedures and protocols in various environments.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly when needed.
